Sakura International School Yokohama Aoba School is a five-minute walk from Ichigao Station on the Tokyu Denentoshi Line. Located in a quiet residential area, there is greenery around the kindergarten, such as the Ichigao Park and Yamoto Park, allowing the children to observe the changing seasons and play freely. It is the perfect location for children where they can grow in a safe and relaxing environment.

Yokohama Aoba campus is a new campus opened in February 2019. We are 5 minutes walk away from Ichigao station (Denentoshi line), in a quiet residential area. In our spacious classrooms, we hear children enjoying their time everyday.

Is your kindergarten eligible for the free childhood and childcare program?

Sakura International School has met the standards set by the government and is accredited so please be reassured.

At our kindergarten, families in K1, K2 and K3 can receive up to 37,000 yen per month regardless of income.

Please check with your local municipal office for details and procedures regarding financial support.
In households with stay-at-home parents, childcare services at unlicensed kindergartens or after-school programs at kindergartens are not covered by the free childcare policy.

We hold information sessions for individual families periodically. Please feel free to contact a campus office to discuss possible dates.
