Sakura International School Higashi-Osaka Campus is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the Nagata Station on the Osaka Metro/Kintetsu Keihanna Line. We have a designated parking space for convenient pickup and dropoff. Our spacious, green campus is full of plants, trees as well as a pond, all within an arm’s reach. We also have a biotope where children immerse themselves in nature, learn about life and observe the changing seasons, providing the perfect environment for their development.

With the biotope started in 2021, children get to learn the natural life cycle, feel seasonal changes, harvest their own vegetables and to feel accomplishment and joy.

School lunch is provided by Genmian, an organic restaurant using organic vegetables. Menus are thought to have a balanced nutritions, and flavoured specifically for children.

Is your kindergarten eligible for the free childhood and childcare program?

Sakura International School has met the standards set by the government and is accredited so please be reassured.

At our kindergarten, families in K1, K2 and K3 can receive up to 37,000 yen per month regardless of income.

Please check with your local municipal office for details and procedures regarding financial support.
In households with stay-at-home parents, childcare services at unlicensed kindergartens or after-school programs at kindergartens are not covered by the free childcare policy.
