  • School lunch is available at separate cost (Please contact us for special requirement for food allergy)
  • No summer school on weekend and national holidays including Obon holiday(8/11-15).
  • All course fees include the operating costs of Skills Workshops.
  • School bus service is available: Tennoji, Higashi-Osaka, Rokko, Shin-Kobe (Bus fee required)

Week A

Come try a new Summer program at KIA! Each day students go on a different adventure! Each adventure will include some fun activities in English and some in Japanese. Two days at KIA Kobe Campus, and three days on a special summer field trip adventure. Students will rotate through the adventures so that all attendees can experience each adventure.
*Space limited to 115 students
*After school programs not available in week A

Sports Adventure - Off Campus

Sports Adventure - Off Campus
Visit a place with plenty of space to use our bodies in big ways! Students will play games and enjoy fun exercises and activities. Location may change due to weather- some activities indoor and some outdoor.
*Special care will be taken to avoid heat stroke and dehydration - some activities may be changed due to the heat

Nature Adventure - Off Campus

Nature Adventure - Off Campus
Visit a beautiful forest in the mountains where students can learn nature science while doing fun activities. Activities include hiking, a big slide, and experiments along with a delicious picnic.
*Special care will be taken to avoid heat stroke and dehydration
*In case of light rain, the activities will continue. Please prepare a raincoat and shoes.

Science Adventure - Off Campus

Science Adventure - Off Campus
Visit a science museum and try some fun experiments in a special place. Students will explore exhibits as a group and then move to a place where they can try an experiment activity.

Campus Quest Adventure

Campus Quest Adventure
Have fun at Kobe campus playing games and exploring ideas together. These activities will combine popular activities that students enjoy in summer school.

Arts and Crafts Adventure

Arts and Crafts Adventure
Have a creative day making art and crafts in the art room and classrooms of Kobe campus. Students will be able to take home all of their beautiful and interesting projects at the end of this adventure.

Week B

This year, choose from 3 summer workshop courses. Workshop leaders may teach in Japanese or English. Each leader is passionate and knowledgeable about the fun activities students will do. For one week, each student will learn a little and play a little in 3 different workshops. Workshops cannot be changed after enrollment.
*Space in each course is limited. Enrollment for a course will close when the number reaches the limit.
