Parent Teacher Conference
The homeroom teachers share with the parents the children's daily growth, learning and daily life. This event is held twice a year, at the end of the first term and the end of the second term.

Summer School
Summer school is offered during the summer vacation period (mid-July to the end of August) in the kindergarten for four weeks.
The classes are based on weekly themes such as space and insects. Children who do not attend the school are also welcome to participate.
Summer Party
On the last day of summer school, the children enjoy summer activities such as yo-yo fishing and making portable shrines.

Summer Camp
The children in K2 and K3 participate in a summer camp for two days. They experience a variety of activities such as singing and dancing with their teachers around the campfire.

Halloween Party
Not only children and teachers, but also parents are invited to dress up and participate in the Halloween party.

The children perform the songs and plays they have practiced so hard on a big stage in front of their guardians.

The K2 and K3 children serve drinks and snacks to the guardians and present the results of their practice, including plays and songs.

Assembly
Each month, the children enjoy a meeting based on a theme. If the theme is "Community Workers," the children wear the uniform of their favorite profession. We also celebrate the birthdays of children born in that month.

Evacuation Drill
Evacuation drills are conducted once a month at each campus. The drills cover not only earthquakes and fires, but also evacuation in case of intrusion by suspicious persons.

We play traditional Japanese games like race, ball rolling race, tug war, and ball toss game, and also performances influenced by cultures around the world.

Students make a speech with a decided theme. Representatives of each grade who won the preliminary contest will compete at the final stage in front of all students.

Summer School
August is a holiday period. However, we offer summer schools. It is an optional language focussed programme offered in English. Non-KIA students can also join us.。

In overnight summer camp, students experience different activities such as canoeing, archery, trekking, campfire and preparing dinner, and will build up teamwork.

Children perform Japanese/Overseas traditional drama and music. Starting in September, children practice and prepare for three months.

Music School Concert
KIA Music School offers personal violin lessons and personal piano lessons. Music School concerts are held in a big concert hall. In addition to solo play, the ensemble played by nearly 100 students is startling.

Children perform Japanese/Overseas traditional drama and music. Starting in September, children practice and prepare for three months.
Japanese Week
We offer Japanese-only lessons during the week before winter break and spring break.
We work to strengthen Japanese skills and learn Japanese traditional cultures.

Spelling Bee
It is a competition about English spelling skills. The winner at KIA, will get a ticket to participate in the National contest held in Tokyo. The winner at the National contest can participate in the contest held in the United States.

Study Abroad in New Zealand
G5 students go on a 3 weeks study abroad trip to New Zealand. This is a compulsory programme for all students. Starting from September, we offer information sessions towards parents.
