English & Inquiry Summer School
The summer school Skills Workshop is a program in which our teachers share their unique knowledge by teaching particular skills and techniques.This is a special program where children have fun while experiencing and mastering special hands-on activities.
The workshops fall into these 5 categories. Students will get to choose the workshops most interesting to them through a questionnaire at a later date. Then workshops will be assigned based on the questionnaire and space availability.
The administration fee(¥500) for each course is included in the course fee.
Crafting
From DIY to sewing to interior design, there are so many things we can make!
These workshops will show us how to do it!

Summer School Special Language Weeks
This is a great opportunity for children who are learning a third or fourth language during the school year, to study the background of the culture that goes with the language. These language weeks will become a precious summer experience!
Children who are not enrolled in French or Chinese elective classes during the regular school year are still welcome to attend. Why not start this Summer to motivate your child to learn another language?
*Please note that applications for the French/Chinese summer school are limited and will be closed as soon as the number of applicants reaches 15.

At the French Summer School at Kansai International Academy, we want students to approach French art and culture through a variety of themes and activities, making new discoveries.
Before exploring French art and culture, students learn words that match the theme and engage in morning circle activities. And at the end, we will always look back in review.
In order to introduce French culture well, we want the children to experience the activities and events at their own pace and with their own minds. The French Summer School offers a full day of French language learning with activities that take into account the developmental age of the children.
Join us for a week of "experiencing all that France has to offer" by discovering French culture from many different angles using the full range of the child's senses!
By watching French short films, we will challenge you to improve your understanding of the French language and culture from a visual standpoint as well. After watching the film, students will review the content and work on their speaking and writing skills.

Guidelines for the prevention of new coronavirus infection
During the summer school, we will continue to implement infection prevention measures in accordance with the guidelines.
■Temperature measurement reports every morning
1. Check your temperature on the "Health Check Card" distributed at school and have your parents/guardians seal the card every day.
2. Check all children's cards before entering the classroom

All staff members are required to thoroughly clean, disinfect and ventilate classrooms and common areas.

Work with schools and families to ensure adequate sleep, moderate exercise and a balanced diet to strengthen the immune system.
■Responding to the risk of mass infection
1. Provide sufficient ventilation inside the room, including the classroom
Adequate ventilation is provided during and after classes, taking the weather into account.
2. Instruct people to wear a mask to prevent splashes.（This does not apply to outdoor activities.）
If it is difficult to obtain masks, they will be distributed at school.

All buses will be operated in accordance with the school's arrival and departure times, and all safety measures will be thoroughly implemented.

We will provide our students with a thorough set of safety measures.
In the event that a state of emergency is declared for the whole country, or the Osaka and Hyogo areas, or the local government asks educational institutions to close the school.
Please note that summer school is cancelled and the remaining classes will be refunded.
Please note that we will be following the guidelines with our subcontractor for school lunches and school bus services.
In the following cases, please have the student be absent from school.

If the student has a fever of 37.5 degrees or higher (higher than normal fever) or any of the following symptoms;
Cough, dyspnea, general malaise, sore throat, nasal discharge and blockage, taste and smell disturbances, joint and muscle pain, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, etc. -
In case of close contact with a person who has tested positive for covid-19
